I am a PhD student in the open quantum systems group. I have been a student at Uni. Turku since 2011 and got my bachelors and masters degrees here.

My research focuses on non-Markovian dynamics in open quantum systems.

In July 2018, I published my second paper, called “Revealing memory effects in phase-covariant master equations”, in which I am the first author. In this paper we studied different definitions of non-Markovianity (information backflow, negative entropy production etc.) and their indicators. We derived simple inequalities for the time-dependent decay rates of a phase-covariant master equation for each indicator that tell, if the measure of non-Markovianity based on that indicator is zero or non-zero, without specifying the exact function.
