I am a postdoc.
My research topics are the dynamics of open quantum systems and quantum estimation theory.
In a recent work we investigated a continuous-time quantum walk on a 1D lattice affected by spatially correlated random telegraph noise. We showed that time-dependent noise assisted by spatial correlations leads to strong memory effects in the walker dynamics and to robust diffusive behavior against the detrimental action of uncorrelated noise. Spatial correlations also enhance localization breaking, thus making a quantum particle spread on longer distances across the lattice.
